Vasu Facial Oil: The Natural Face Oil for a Gold-Like Glow!

The pandemic has actually got me into certain habits that I never thought I would ever! I am from the dusky skin community! So, you get the point, right? Of how many and what not I might have heard about "this will make you a little fairer" remedies. From Fair and Lovelies to Mask made out of Haldi, I have been told to apply what not! But I am also from the "Lazy-Ass" community. If I never like to do a thing, I will never do it!  So, no one in my family forced me, but of course it is mostly the outer circle of your family that comes up with this, at least I heard it from them. It was during the pandemic, I realised it is important to take care of your skin, and not for the colour, but the health of the skin. Skin CARE is important! And it was then that I started looking out Skincare videos in YouTube. Learning about my skin type, using products that are more of the Ayurvedic side, rather paraben free skincare products. I did not only start my skincare routine, but a

Rishikesh - Holiness that Attracts Everything!

Spirituality is eternal. Something that no one can force on you comes from within, It is not just a way to connect to God, but to connect you with you.  I was recently reading the book "All Roads Lead to Ganga" by Ruskin Bond. And I was quite intimidated by it to open my blog draft and pen down my thoughts in the draft. The draft which was apparently got lost in the web of work that leads to materialistic satisfaction. Rather than satisfying the thirst of the soul.  The book talks about the Himalayas so vividly. And if you are an OG reader, you know my love for mountains is uncanny. The giant, lofty, and humungous rock so beautifully personifies strength and patience. So, the book is all about describing how most Ganga was originated - the myths, the fables that go on about it. The confluences at the various " Prayags" in Uttarakhand (Prayags - confluence of two or more rivers) When anyone speaks about mountains - I picture Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand

For the Stronger Immunity & Health: KOFOL Immunity Tablets

Whenever I am traveling, I make sure I have my emergency medical kit ready. Yes, my parents since the beginning have always had this one pouch which has all the generic medicines like one for headache, fewer, and cough and cold. So, this is not something I have been trained for but something that has been observed and is a habit now. So, since I was planning for a trip soon, I made sure all my medicines were updated, no expiry, nothing. And it was then that my father asked me to add some immunity tablets in the kit. And I was like, “Yes, this is the new normal.” However, irked you might be, eet eez what eet eez...:, right?    I then thought of sharing with you all what has been my go-to medicines that I always have or what is that I have updated in my kit.    Let us start with some immunity tablets - that is the new additions and then move on to our good-old cough syrup.    KOFOL Immunity Tablets Immunity tablets are one thing that we all have been advised a lot of times. Not just tabl

AULI - Some Realisations & A Lot of Mesmerisation!

When I first started my travel journey - especially my blog, it was all about the experience. Meeting new people, explore new places, and to be honest it became more about mountains later on. It was after I started working, I started traveling more often. No, it wasn't because my parents did not allow me, they are the coolest parents, but I wanted to travel with my own hard-earned money. Having said that, I discovered a lot of new things. One of them being adventure sports. I am an enthusiast, I love exploring new things. When my parents planned for an impromptu trip to Auli, I was over the moon. I had heard many stories about people visiting Auli and seeing their pictures - finally, it was I who was ticking another destination off my list. Traveling to Auli was a delight - I was traveling in a mini-bus after years. We were a group of two families - eight people. And the experience was going to be nothing less than surreal. You have homecooked snacks every now and then, there are t

Little Lhasa in India

Travel has always surprised me. To an extent where I have always seen myself left in awe. That expression where your brain concentrates on just syncing the view, your mouth speaks no word, and your eyes are twinkling with the sweet rush of emotions. One such beautiful destination was Mcleodganj. I had heard innumerable stories around this place via my childhood friends. Most of their first travel destination was Mcleodganj and Dharmashala. Whereas mine began with discovering South India - and that's a different story after all. But when you constantly hear stories from people about a prominent destination, it itches you to visit it as soon as possible. Oh, God! What is it with the place? Why have I yet not discovered it? Yet you keep traveling and unraveling destinations left, right, and center. But that place, but Mcleodganj. And the itch always lives in your unconscious mind. I had completely forgotten about this, but when I did reach the place, every story I heard, every sigh ac

Up Up And Away : My Paragliding Experience in Bir

Adventure travel is yet another categorization for some travel enthusiasts. I say some because it isn't a priority for me. I definitely love to try and explore new things never the main motive. Until...I did my first ever Paragliding in Bir beginning this year. 2021 had to be a new start we were all inside our houses in 2020 so since things were opening up, I decided to the least have a week-long vacation in the mountains. And it did happen. Also, there were many firsts on this trip. When I say, "MANY" I mean it.  Each and everything will unfold, with the unwrapping of each destination on this blog. So, you will have to be constant with the blogs that I have published regarding this trip. Speaking about the initial firsts, I had not planned the destination. Of course, I knew Himachal to be the destination but where in Himachal, what is the journey we are going ahead with. Are we going the Shimla, Manali path or is it going to be the Manali to Dharmashala one? We left ever
